An associate with the firm, Dena Guttmann’s practice is focused on estate litigation; including defending and contesting wills and trusts, estate and trust administration, estate and gift tax planning, and guardianship matters. Dena concentrates on developing strategies and planning techniques for clients to help them achieve their long-term personal planning goals, often including tax savings and liability protection. Dena has also attended to planning for clients with international estate planning issues, including handling all matters related to compliance with the Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program. Dena also assists clients with their charitable planned giving, having gained served with the Department of Planned Giving & Endowments, UJA Federation of New York.

Dena graduated from the Sy Syms School of Business, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She received her law degree from the Yeshiva University – Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she served as Submissions Editor of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law. Dena is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, Trusts, and Estates and Elder Law Section. She admitted to both the New York and New Jersey state bars since 2015, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts. Dena has been recognized for her professionalism and quality of her work and has been designated as a SuperLawyer and has served as a Five Star Lawyer of Distinction.
